This dining chair is inspired by mid-20th-century design. The seat and backrest are made from molded plywood with a walnut veneer. The veneer is finished with a clear satin polyurethane coating. The molded plywood shell is shaped to provide a gentle curve for the back and a slight depression for the seat. The shell has a thickness of 1.2 cm. The chair has four solid wood legs made from American black walnut. The legs are tapered and angled outward for a splayed look. Each leg is attached to the underside of the seat with metal brackets and screws. The legs have rubber caps on the bottom. The chair is delivered flat-packed: the shell and legs are separate. Assembly requires screwing each leg into the pre-drilled inserts. A hex key is provided. The total weight is 6 kg. Maximum user weight: 110 kg. The plywood shell is resistant to warping under normal conditions. Clean with a soft dry cloth. Avoid exposure to high humidity or standing water, as this may damage the veneer. The walnut veneer may lighten over time with exposure to sunlight. This chair is suitable for dining rooms or home offices.
